EIO1616MT is an EtherCAT expansion module used for EtherCAT controllers, which can expand 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs. That is, when more IO resources are needed, EIO1616MT can help you. And several EIO1616MT modules can be used for one EtherCAT controller. In addition, after IO mapping, IO expansion can be achieved easily.
Digital Expansion: 16 inputs + 16 outputs (you also can select PCB type, EIO1616, which doesn’t have the shell).
It has EtherCAT IN and EtherCAT OUT interfaces. EtherCAT IN connects to master controller, EtherCAT OUT connects to slave submodules. Please refer to “System Architecture”.
It supports IO status display led, which can check IO status conveniently.
